What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy 2 sacks of maize for my family consumption. Bought 2 cattle for rearing, gave my spouse some amount for his medication and also invested some money on my green grocery business which is now my main source of income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now live in a big house as compared to the one I was living and in my life I never thought that I could live in. All this would not have been possible without the transfers. Thank you GD
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has changed the living standards of recipients in our community through cash transfer. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well

My husband was sick by the time I received the second transfer; thus I took 30000 KES to spend on his medication. I then tuffs, clothes and a sofa set
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have what I did not have before, like a sofa set and new cloths for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I received my first transfer when we were starving due to lack of food and therefore we spent the whole of it on 3 sacks of corn.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
Since my child will be joining form one next year, my upcoming second transfer will facilitate her education in form one and two.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to fix my doors and finish up my house. Secondly l would wish to open up a business for my husband and my self so that we can support one another. I would also like to use part of the money to pay school fees for my children. Finally l would like to use the rest of the money to buy food for my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
We used to have a very small house but we have struggled and built a more spacies house and also bought three cows.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband health conditions is my biggest hardship in life since he requires thirty thousands to go through operation.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when all my family members are in good health.
