What does receiving this money mean to you?
This is an opportunity for me to open an account and save up for the future. It will act as a savings kitty, any time I have an emergency maybe I need to go to the hospital or I need to buy something for myself, this money will come in handy. I am mentally challenged and most times I depend on my parents for assistance, I am grateful that this money will ease any financial challenge they might be facing as my father will have access to the account.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I can not remember the last time I wore new clothes but this April was a joy for me. One of our relatives had a wedding and we all attended. My parents bought me a new attire, I believe I looked good. I was happy to be part of the celebrations.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My right leg frequently ails, it swells up and makes it hard for me to walk. This forces me to carry a walking stick just to help me get by. At the moment I can only sit to avoid it swelling up any further.
