How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that am able to afford treatment, I also acquired many household items that I did not have before and am generally happy and stress free.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to give me unconditional cash which I was able to spend on my priority needs. Every thing is good, there is nothing they did not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying house hold items (mattress at UGX 100,000, plates UGX 20,000, a try UGX 10,000, clothes UGX 120,000, saddles UGX 5000, bed sheets UGX 20,000), 3 goats at UGX 300,000, saved UGX 700,000, paid a medical debt of UGX 100,000. I gave my mother UGX 100,000 and my husband is using UGX 100,000 as capital for business. I bought food( maize,meat and rice) at UGX 58,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness because I am going to build myself a simple iron sheet roofed house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy to extent of losing sleep.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay labour for making bricks, bought firewood, paid medical bills for treating my children, gave some to my spouse to start goats re-selling business, and I have saved the balance for building a house.

Receiving this money is a means of helping me, to raise money to put up a better permanent house for my family.

The happiest part of my day is morning .when I get up and my husband is happy too.

The biggest hardship which I face is whenever , I try to buy some thing for my family for example like a cow .my neighbours end up killing because of jealously .
