What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a piece of land and the remaining 100,000ugx I used for buying household items that I didn't have.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to give people cash direct because this money has helped people in my village acquire items like land, constructing houses and others which they couldn't have done without this money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in away that i have acquired land and household items which I didn't have before.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on depositing 1,500,000 ugx on land that I want to buy, took my wife to hospital for better treatment and bought a matress and bed using the balance.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt over joyed as my Wife and I could not get back to sleep till morning.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am in the process of acquiring my own land that I am going to use for cultivation to improve thefeeding of my family. My wife's health has also improved greatly since she recieved better treatment.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have I lack of land to plough and this has actually deterred me from developing financially.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I have finished to work and when I have eaten lunch.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving the givedirectly money will make me diversify in farming. Hence I will get enough food to sustain my family
