How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because my health has gratefully improved as well as my feeding.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well helping people in the community to build houses, buy livestock and acquire household items; there's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay legal cost for a land dispute I have, and the rest went to meet medical treatment for my health and wife.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I settled a debt of 350,000ugx that I had borrowed for paying tuition, I paid tuition of 150,000ugx for my children, got treatment worth 200,000ugx. I Ploughed my two acres of land at 120,000ugx to cultivate food that will be sold and much of it will be eaten. I acquired a complete solar panel worth 100,000ugx to provide light during night. I have bought household items worth 380,000ugx in order to improve on our living standards. The balance in the mobile money account is 400,000ugx, which I will be use for weeding crops.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I reeived my first transfer, I had a lot of joy and shared with my spouse my experience.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, there is less stress in ploughing and weeding crops since the money had helped us in cultivation of crops.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is battling land a case with my own elder brother in courts of law. My elder wants to deprive all his siblings land.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moment is during evenings and this a time iam at chbukube centre chatting with freinds.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to build ironroofed house for myself. The current house i sleep is for my brother and any time he will retire ,so he will come and stay in his house. This will render me homeless.
