How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am proud to stay my family is now financially stable and we are staying a peaceful life. We are now eating well because the little money I get from casual work specifically goes to food and clothing and also we supplement with what we get from the farm. Since I spent part of my transfer to improve my farm work like buying hybrid seeds and fertilizer, we managed to get a bumper harvest and thus we have enough food in store which has never happened to me before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I have no new goal this is because I am still saving toward my initial goal of building a better house. I would say I am almost through with saving and hopefully very soon I will be staying in a better house than the one I am currently in(grass roofed that is seriously leaking).
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that we longer sleep hungry unlike before life was so hard that we could not afford three meals in a day. We depend on casual work for survival whish is also not reliable, because at times you work the whole day fro alater pay. Life was hard on me, but I really thank Give Directly because of Iam able to buy food for my family with a lot of ease. We have a good relationship with my family members and we are staying a happy life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am planning to open a shop business in the next six month. I thought of it because I have no any income-generating activity and I have the ability and the financial resource, I thought of it. I believe I will have an additional source of income that will enable me to support my family financially with a lot of ease.

Currently, my life is different in that I have been able to buy a goat. with the goat, I believe I will earn an extra income to buy a cow by replacing the goats that shall have reproduced in the foreseen future by selling some of them. With the dairy cow, I will have enough supply of milk hence I won't buy milk from other people in the village as I do right now.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have an additional goal is to part of the upcoming transfer in the next four months and add to some of my saving and buy a dairy cow. The dairy cow, I will provide enough milk hence I won't buy milk from other people in the village as I do right now. At the same time, I will sell the surplus milk to make an extra income and use the money to provide for my family's needs with ease.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In my homestead, no one has gotten the opportunity to study to a point where they are able to get employed. Being a beneficiary, I now have the opportunity to complete my vocational training course in building and construction with the monthly payments that I receive from Givedirectly hence I am hopeful that I will be able to get employed and provide for my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
At the moment, it's really frustrating having to borrow means of transport from my neighbors who at times feel I am a burden to them so my new goal for the next four months is to jointly save up money with my mother and buy a second hand motorcycle which I can use to transport my mother to the hospital since she is old and can't walk.

Before GiveDirectly came to my village ,I used to live a stressful life since I mainly depended on causal jobs for a daily living . At times I could go without getting work which meant my family had to sleep without having a meal .Currently my daily life has changed and it feels like I have come from the life of nothing to some thing since I am able to budget with the monthly payments in combination with the little income I get from my casual job to feed my family. Its really a blessing having a healthy and happy family .Thanks to GiveDirectly .
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have doubled my income through the joint savings with my mother from the monthly payments and buy a second-hand motorcycle which I will be using to generate some income as well as means of transporting my mother to the hospital who is aged and unabled to walk on her own .
