What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on completing my iron roofed house and also was able to buy two heads of cattle.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by enabling me to finish building a permanent house and aquring my heads of cattle. This has put me also to be recognized. On the other side, it has done nothing wrong all is good.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life different than it was because I now have a complete iron roofed house, sleep well without worrying of the rainy season that my roof would lick; and also buying cattle that I wouldn't have if I had not recieved the transfer.

I spent my first transfer to buy two bulls at Ugx 1,300,000, hired a piece of land for gardening at Ugx 200,000,and the balance a mattress and other household items.

The moment i recieved my money, i felt so joyous and spent the night planning on how to spend it.

The biggest difference in my daily life is self pride and esteem whenever am grazing my own animals.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of money to buy cattle and ox plough.I hire services of an ox plough at 70,000 uganda shillings per acre of land. This is very costly that sometimes, when I can not afford, I fail to carry out my farming plans.This affects my agricultural harvest
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon.This is my happiest part of the day since, it is the time i return back from carrying out garden work and begin resting at home as I wait for food to eat.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a great blessing.This is because my household will be owning cattle and ox plough that we have never owned before.This can generate for my family more money when we hire it out and also help us in tilling our farm land.
