What did you spend your third transfer on?
Yes, on school fees and a house! I used my third transfer to pay school fees for my 4 children because I am a single parent for 10years now and school fees has been a challenge. I also finished my house bedroom house because the second transfer was not enough to finish the house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have and own a modern and bigger house, I am able to pay my children's school fees fully, and in have been able to do that after receiving transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am happy that GiveDirectly gives us money unconditionally and directly to us the poor people, coming to us in our villages. Everything is about you GiveDirectly is done well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building an extension on my house which was incomplete and it would rain on me many times. I also constructed quarters for my mature sons as well as paid school fees for my daughter in senior four.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer experience the coldness of the night and the rain which previously used to hit me at night.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a mattress and solar panel in my first transfer because the children burnt my mattress using a local candle. I also paid school fees in the rest of the balance
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I hope to build a boy quarter for my boys in my upcoming transfer, they are big and I am uncomfortable sharing my small house with them.

I am planning to spend the cash transfer to pay school fees for my children especially those in secondary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I did buy a plot of land that a constructed a family house that i stay with my children since their father abandoned us upto now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have ever faced in my life, is always getting school fees for children to go to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during afternoon hours especially when am having lunch with my children.
