What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing more utensils in my house and bought school uniforms for my children. I also bought seats since the previous ones were old and used the larger percentage of the amount on finishing the construction work of my new house started using the second transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have managed to purchase some cattle and constructed a nice house since the previous one was very old.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was sending unconditiona cash transfers hence people managed to purchase different things that they needed.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to construct a new house as my previous house was quite old, with dilapidated walls and rusty leaking roof. I then constructed a new ,bigger and better house with the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I can now live comfortably and peacefully in a new ,decent and big house that can well fit my belongings and my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy 2 plastic chairs worth 1600 KES,bought shoes 600 KES paid school fees 400 KES, a hoe 400 KES and used the rest of the money to buy food.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to build a new house,the current one is in a bad condition .I am also planning to buy a 5 seater chair and some cattle to keep

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer new iron sheets, poles and timber so as to build a better house house. The house I currently live in is old and small. It is almost falling apart.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is fending for my family, even when there is no work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of money, especially money to pay school fees for the one child who is in secondary school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am back in the house and listening to the radio.
