How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I was able to venture into poultry farming to help in the generation of income for my family. With the transfers, I was able to buy poultry to jumpstart the business and now it has blossomed to a full-time project which generates income daily and also provides food for the family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save the transfers with I will receive from GiveDirectly to boost the poultry project that I had started with GiveDIrectly's transfers. I am hopeful I will earn more from it since at the moment it operates full time and the members of my village do come to buy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life for the last four months is that my living standards have improved. The money has sustained me and my family so well through meeting the cost of paying laborers who have been assisting me on my farm and paid the school fees for my grandchildren on time. My grandchildren have not gotten any distractions from their studies due to lack of school fees. I really thankful to God for sending GiveDirectly to our village because there is a lot of improvement in my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to boost my poultry project since my aim is to get double production as to compared with the ones I am generating at the moment. I shall get a number of eggs and chicken not only for sale but also for my household's consumption. Therefore, we shall be obtaining high nutritional food at a low cost even after GiveDirectly has phased out of our village.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different from how it was before Give directly came into my life. Through their transfers, I have been able to meet the cost of labor on my farm and paid the school fee for my grandchildren on time. I am glad that I will be able to get a good harvest this season because I planted on time and used all the necessary farm inputs. My grandchildren will also not be sent home, therefore, they won't be distracted from their studies.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am a farmer, I normally plant vegetables mostly. It has been my source of income for a long time now. It is a good business although there have been a few challenges. Being that they are very perishable they at times get wasted because I don't have the necessary equipment to store them. At time they burn due to the extreme weather patterns that come as a result of climate change. Therefore for the next four months, I have a new goal of purchasing a water pump which will help me in solving these challenges.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly is that my living standards have improved. The money has sustained me and my family so well. I haven't been facing challenges to raise money for meeting the daily family's needs. Previously I would strain myself and still not meet most of my daily expenses. I really thank God for sending this organization to our village because there is a lot of improvement in my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My next goal in the next six months is to expand my vegetable farm. The farm is a good source of income and I believe I will be able to reap more benefits if I invest more on it. I am planning to expand the acreage of land under this plantation by leasing a piece of a farm from my neighbor. I will also buy more farm inputs which will help me get a better harvest in the next six months. I will be saving my monthly income so as to be able to accomplish this goal.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different than it was four months ago because I have been obtaining vegetables at no cost from my horticulture farm. In addition, I have been selling part of the farm produce in the nearby center to rais an additional income. Generally, life has become so easy to me since I do not need to rely on unpredictable casual jobs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my new goal is to ensure that I save some of my income and spend them on weeding my farms. I have already prepared some acreage of land in which I shall plant beans and maize. When they are weeded on time, I shall be able to obtain adequate crops for my family. This will save me from purchasing food for the family thus I shall always have some money to use for my personal development.

From it, I shall beget eggs and chicken not only for sale to generate additional income but also for my household's consumption. This will make us have a variety of sources of food thus an improvement in our diet. We shall as result be obtaining high nutritional food at a low cost as opposed to buying them from the market.

I am happy to report that nowadays I make more money from farming than I did before. This is because I can afford farm inputs and even quality seeds which was never the case four months ago.
