What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I spent on timber and built a boat. I was very jobless and therefore when I received the money, I thought of investing in a boat that has been generating for us regular income. I am really happy and pleased with Give Directly, since I am no longer jobless!
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it targets the poorest directly and it gives grants instead of loans, but it should consider including everyone in the village into the program since in my village, almost everyone is poor.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the money in that I have become self-employed from being jobless. I can now generate income and meet my household basic needs.
