What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on finishing the construction of my house at 40,000 KES, bought two sacks of maize at 6,000 KES then used the rest of the cash on food for the house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I no longer get stressed that my house would fall on me because I now have a decent and stable house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on buying a plowing machine and four bulls that I can use in plowing my farm, I will spend part of my transfer on paying school fees for my child who is in secondary school and the remaining amount I will spend on buying twenty iron sheets that I will use in replacing my current roof as it is leaking.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that I have been an active member of our village lending and saving scheme and I managed to secure some loan that I spent on buying cement which was used in plastering the walls and floor of my house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that I am a widow and I have fourteen people in my house who all look up to me for food, school fees and other basic needs which at times I fail to provide for them due to my low income that I get from my farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go to my farm in the morning to plough it and when I finally harvest the crops, I am able to feed my family and sell the surplus.
