What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the whole amount of my third transfer to buy building materials that I want to use to build a more spacious house. My previous house was only two roomed and too squeezed, now I want to build a four roomed house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I could have stayed in my squeezed house forever but now I will have a four roomed house. That is how my life has been different.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion what GiveDirectly did well was giving us the cash and allowing us to spend on how best we wish. Other NGOs for example may bring you maize but ideally you lacked the money to mill it,so they have not helped you in this case. I have not seen anything they did not do well so far.
