What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 15000 KES of my first lumpsum transfer on a cow, 14000 KES on a sewing machine, 6000 KES on 3 rolls of clothing materials, 3000 KES on a sack of maize, I paid 10000 KES secondary school fees for my daughter and I saved the remaining 2000 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was initially living in a stressful life since I used to sew on a daily piece work of 100 KES per day, however when I received transfers, I opened my own tailoring shop and therefore I am now able to make more money that has improved our living standards. The biggest difference in my daily life.

I plan to buy a tailoring machine, I am a tailor but working under an employer. It will be more profitable when I use my own machine. I also plan to pay school fees.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of is raising my children since the death of my husband. He passed on when the kids were soo young. I am proud because I work extra hard to make ends meet.

The biggest hardship I face is maintaining the daily needs for the kids like food, education and health.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I get paid for some casual job during evening hours.
