What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to pay my medical bills because I received the transfer when sick. Paid my grandchild in high school fee. Replaced the roof of my house with new iron sheets. I also constructed a new pit latrine because the one I had went down.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I'm now a life. I'm certain that without the transfer, I could have died because I was seriously sick but could not seek medical attention due to financial crisis as such, was only left for dead. My neighbors were only praying for me as they wait for my demise. Besides, I no longer dig holes here and there to answer my calls of nature because I managed to construct a pit latrine with my last transfer..
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it helped us with huge amount of money to support ourselves otherwise at the moment I'm not aware of what GD doesn't do well.
