What did you spend your third transfer on?
For a long time I have been staying in a five iron sheet house, it was so small and squeezed, I used to wander when I had visitors looking for a place where they could spend the nights when they visited. So immediately I received the money, I bought building materials that I used to construct a three roomed house. I, no longer panic or get worried when I am visited as my house is spacious enough to accommodate them. I very grateful to GiveDirectly as I am no longer at the same spot they found me, I have moved ahead!!

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We're planning to spend our transfer on building a new bigger house since the one we stay in currently is very small and leaks during rainy seasons and lastly we will use the remaining amount to pay school fees for our children in primary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to build our current house, when I got married here we had a thatched house which would leak during rainy seasons but the current one is better compared to the previous one.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face currently is on making ends meet,we depend on making of ropes using sisal and the cash from the sale of one rope is just ten shillings, this is just enough for the days need.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when as a family we take our evening meal, seeing the children not sleeping on an empty stomach makes me happy.
