How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that I now have my own cow that I will be able to use in future. Once it has given birth I will be able to get milk out of it for my consumption and also selling for people to get money for my future project. I am sure this is help me achieve my dream of put a house in my own home. I am also now sitting on a very comfortably, seats, I no no longer? borrow seats from my neighbors again.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give directly did very well by training people before starting the program, at least they created awareness of what they were doing. They also did very well by dealing with people directly and not forcing people to get into the program. I did not see what Give directly did not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to buy dairy cow as my future investment. I thought of buying dairy cow as a way of investment since I am planning to sell the calves after the reproduction and spend the money to put up my home since I am still staying in parent's home where I am not comfortable because I am now old enough to have my own home. I will also use the money to pay dowry to my in laws being that I have stayed with my spouse for so long if l have not paid dowry. I will also get milk from my cow for my consumption and also sell some to the near by market and save the money for my future use. I also gave some of the transfer to my spouse to start a business of selling second hand clothes, although it is very unfortunate that it do not well being that she became sick and she end up spending the whole capital on medication. The remaining I spent to by seats since I did not have better seats to sit on.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money makes me so happy. I will use it to start a business for my wife. She is interested in selling second hand clothes within the local market. With this venture, she can then assist with some of the responsibilities within our family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am having dinner with my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of jobs to get me better income. I am a casual worker and the income I get is not enough to provide for my family's needs like food and clothing.
