Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a plan of saving a little amount each and every month so as to be able to lease a farm for farming purposes. I want to start engaging in large scale farming of barley which I will eventually sell out to the breweries company.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been using the money to buy domestic animals such as goats and sheep where to date I have accumulated a total of fifteen animals which is a big achievement for a person who was considered to be so poor. I also started a chicken rearing project and today I can boast of forty chicken which I have in place.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will change because the breweries company will come and buy the harvest from my farm at a good price. I will then have enough for school fees for my kids for the next year.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In the last four months, my life is different in that I got an improved harvest from my previous harvest. In the past, I used to get 3-5 sacks of maize in each and every harvest. This is because I used local seeds without fertilizers. The rains too had reduced hence the minimal harvest. When I started using hybrid maize seeds and fertilizers, the harvest has increased to 10-13 sacks even with minimal rains. The seed and fertilizers I used were bought with GD transfers. I am glad they have brought change in my life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a cow. I would want to have an investment for my family. The best investment is livestock is my area because it requires very little resources to keep and its value increases on a daily basis.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have my own retail shop business. I no longer struggle to meet my family demands as before the transfers. This is because I only depended on a small income from casual work which was not consistent and very little. In most cases, I would overwork myself just to ensure things are moving in my family. When I started receiving these transfers, I thought of finding a different source of income which would sustain my family for a long time. I saved on a monthly basis which I have used to start a retail shop business. I no longer go for casual work as before the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have bought a cow with the transfers. I plan to save part of my transfers so that I can have the money to buy the cow I wish to have. I am determined and I know I will achieve the goal with the transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is now currently different from how it was four months ago because my business is now doing very well. I no longer depend on my spouse for everything. I have also managed to save some money to buy building materials and I'm now planning to build my own premise.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy building materials and build my own business premise at my home. I have a retail shop at the shopping center where I pay rent every month and it is also very far away from home and this always inconveniences me so much mostly with the customers because sometimes I report late and miss out on customers. Building my own premise will be much cheaper because I will not be paying rent and I will be present most of the time to capture all the customers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have manage to add stock to boost my business of selling domestic goods. The business is now doing well and I'm able to get some profit which I could not get before. I no longer depend on my spouse to provide for me everything because I used the profit to meet my daily household needs and also to support my spouse to pay school fees for our children. I'm so happy because I now have stable source of income.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next four months, I expect to have completed building my own shopping premises and I will be in a position to save the money that I could have used to pay rent

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Within the last few months I have been able to modern seedlings and fertilizers which have really helped me realize bumper harvests within a very short period of time. For me right now I can say that my family is food secured as compared to how we used to farm in the past without the fertilizers and we could realize very little harvests every season.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
We are combining combined efforts with my husband and we have a plan of buying building materials such as sand and cement which we plan to use for the purposes of erecting a new house. Currently I live in a mud -walled house which is in a poor condition and I am also tired of plastering it using cow-dung every now and then. I want to transform the house to a semi-permanent house to make it more durable. Moreover, the house has also become too small for my family and I no longer feel comfortable sharing the tiny structure with my who are quickly growing up.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have used the cash to buy a goat that has already given birth twice which means that the population of my domestic animals has already increased and I expect that the numbers will still go up as time goes by. The main reason for keeping the domestic animal is because they act as a source of financial security for the future when I will have run out of cash or when I get an emergency in the future. I will also be able to sell them out in exchange of cash whenever I run out of finances.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have harvested enough bags of maize at the end of the season which means that after six months I will have enough stock of farm products which I will sell out and buy what I desire to have in my house. I will also use part of the money to pay school fees for my children so that they do not have to be sent away from school and end up missing out on some of their classes. Education is an important aspect of a persons life and laying a good foundation is important for a kid and that is why I want to ensure that my children get a very good foundation.
