What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I fitted a burglar proof door and windows to my house. Our area is prone to theft and therefore I was living there with a lot of fear. Thanks to Give Directly for revamping my security.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Initially, I was homeless. I was sharing a house with my co-wife and this was really daunting. I was never free till I received this money that gave me a break through. I am glad that even as we speak, I have my own house with a good security system where we live more comfortably.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is sending money directly to the poorest and therefore our money is always safe but we would request for more if given an opportunity to do that since we are aspiring higher. But all in all, we have experienced growth.
