What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to build a more spacious house. I used to stay in single roomed house only separated with a curtain and with this there was no privacy between me and the children. Using the remaining amount I bought my children food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have a three roomed house. At least there is privacy between me and my children as the rooms are well partitioned. Thanks to GiveDirectly as there are no embarrassments any in my house now.

I spent my first transfer on fixing a door since the previous one was old and weak, bought a bag of maize for the family consumption and used most of the amount on paying school fees for my child who had already been sent away due to the arrears.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was overjoyed and very thanked because I had never received such a lumpsum amount of money at ones in my life.
