How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In the last four months, my life is different in that I have a house of my own now. I had not imagined I could be having a house by now. This is because I only depended on my brother for everything. I am still a student and only focuses on paying my school fees. With GD transfers I was able to pay school fees and be able to buy building materials such as iron sheets, timber, and nails which I used in building my own house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to save the money so as to pay for my college fees. This is because I have no one to pay for my school fees. My parents are not financially stable and I cannot depend on them for school fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I received these transfers is that I was able to pay my school fees without struggles. When my brother who was paying my school fees fell sick, I lost hope in finishing secondary school. This is because I had no one to pay my school fees after my brother had resigned from his employment due to illness. When I received the transfer, I paid the whole amount to clear the balance of the fee I had in school so that I may be able to finish my studies. Thanks to GD I was able to finish secondary school without any debt.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would want to ensure I get all the requirements for college. I passed my secondary examinations and qualified to join the university. I would want to have all the requirements I will need for when I finally join before joining. This will give me humble time in settling down in school.
