Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I would still want to continue paying my school fees. I would not want to drop out because I have focused my money on other needs. This is my priority for now.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I did my secondary school examinations two years ago and due to lack of finances, I was not able to join college. I had to settle in the village in as much as I would have wanted to go to college. I started doing casual work in the village to earn an income. My parents could not manage to raise my school fees and that's why I could not go to college. This is why receiving money was a big step in my life. I registered in college with part of my transfers and since then I have been using the transfers to cater for my personal needs and paying my college fees. I am glad I was able to go back to school because of GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I know I will have cleared this years fees arrears. I will continue paying my fees arrears on a monthly basis as I have done with previous transfers. My parents will also help me as we agreed and as they have always done when they receive their transfers. I am glad my dream of finishing college will soon come true because of GD transfers.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goals for my life in the next four months is chicken rearing business. I opted to do the business first as a future investment and also it is manageable and requires minimal capital to start. I am still a student though am almost finishing Secondary School, thus I plan to start saving the little profit I get from the business. I am not afraid to say I come from a humble background thus I have to be wise, this is the reason I thought of opening savings accounts that I will be saving money for my College Education ones am done with Secondary Education.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been using my transfer majorly on buying personal items and revision books, simply because I am in a boarding school and these are the basics I need for me to stay in school comfortably. Initially, I used to depend on my parents for everything unlike today I can afford to depend on my self for other basic needed. I am self-dependent and this is the greatest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer. I really want to thank Give Directly because it gave me an opportunity to get access to some items I was longing to have but I could not because of financial constraints from my parents. If were it not Give Directly transfers I could not have managed to buy the text for revision that I have today.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have started earning a profit from my chicken business. I am very optimistic about getting positive results from my chicken business thus I expect in the next six-month I would have opened a savings account. The little profit I would be getting from my business would help me in expanding the business by buying more chicken and also chicken feed. I will also ensure that I save part of the profit for future project of joining college.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that I have new school uniforms, shoes, and books. Whenever I was in need of school requirements, it would take time to get them since my parents did not have an income to cater for all our family needs at once. I have been saving part of my monthly transfers, to help me meet my school needs. I am glad I don't lag behind in school because of GD transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to start a poultry business. This will help me raise money to cater for my school needs especially when I join college after finishing secondary school. I would not want to stay at home for long after secondary school of lack of college fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have been able to pay my school fees in time. Since I started receiving these transfers I have never been sent home for school fees unlike before the transfers. I used to be sent home every month before the transfers because my parents were unable to pay my fees arrears in time. This really affected my performance since I would be sent home regularly. Am glad I have improved on my performance because I have a humble time study since am not sent home for school fees anymore.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I want to ensure I pay my school fees on time. I would want to make use of the opportunity given to me by GD to better my life. I will channel most of my transfers in school so that I can do well and get a good job to support my family.

My life is currently different from how it was in that, I am a happy person and peaceful at heart. Nowadays, I am able to pay my school fees without bothering my father who normally ferries people and goods around in order to cater to our daily needs. I stay in school without being sent at home which has been an advantage because I do not miss lessons. I have greatly improved in my performance thanks to GiveDirectly.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start poultry farming. This is an investment that I will benefit from even some months and years to come. I am a currently a student and I know that I can use the income from the business to continue with my education.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that, I was able to pay my school fees easily. Previously, I could stay at home for one week or even more while my parent look for money to pay school fees. This was a disadvantage to me because I could miss some lessons and catching up was a struggle. I am glad that nowadays I stay in school for the whole term and my results have also improved. Thanks to GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I do not expect my life to change in the next six months because I will continue using my monthly transfers to pay school fees. This is the best way that I will use the money because I will be sitting for my final exams this year paying the amount in full will mean that I won't be sent home now and then due to fee arrears.
