What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy a cow. I built an iron roofed kitchen. Bought 3 goats. I bought my 3 children in primary school uniforms. I also invested the rest of the transfer in second hand clothes business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I'm now running a business and fend for my family with less ado. Without GD, I couldn't have managed to commence the business due to financial inadequacy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is that it is up-to its promise. What GD should also do is to at least add us something on top of what they have given us to facilitate some of our projects.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying a cow which I will be keeping for milk. I also bought a solar lighting system that is helping me in lighting my house and charging my phone aside form powering my radio to keep up with current news. I also bought a new sofa set to replace my old worn out sofa. I then spent the rest of the money in buying food and clothing for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that now i do not have to buy kerosene for my lamp since I now use solar for lighting my house.

I am planning to spend my transfer on leasing a piece of land where I can grow sugarcane, and also to buy some livestock which I can rear and sell later at a profit.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is growing some sugarcane which I later sold and got money, which I have used to pay fees for my children.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is struggling to support my children after the death of their father six years ago.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I have found some work to do for pay.
