What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought seats for 15,000 KES, bed for 5,000 KES, mattress for 4,000 KES, 2 bags of maize for 5,000 KES, transport cost was 4,000 KES, cupboard was bought for 5,000 KES, a sheep for 3,000 KES, iron sheets to construct a latrine for 2,700 KES, water container for 2,000 KES and clothing cost 1,000 KES. The rest was spent on other daily HH expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was not having any seats in my house or even a proper bed to sleep on, but now I have enough seats for my family and also visitors who come to my house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a toilet when the transfer comes,I will use part of it to buy iron sheets that I will use to build my kitchen,the second transfer I will use to buy household items like a bed, chairs and a mattress and the third transfer I will use to buy iron sheets that will be used to build a bigger house than the one I stay in currently,I will also buy timber and pay masons that will build my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that we tried to save some cash using the small businesses that we have been doing and that cash was used to pay my dowry by buying a cow that was paid to my family as dowry.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that our income is very low and at times my kids are sent home because of school fees and it becomes a challenge for us to raise the amount required making our kids to stay at home for a long time while others are in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go to my farm in the morning so that I can prepare it for the planting season,then that makes me happy because when the crops do well I will have food for my family.
