What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy sand and cement to plaster my house which was made of mud and was very dusty. I also paid my laborers who were renovating my house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now live in a big house which is plastered and my children are no longer sent home for school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in giving money directly to recipients and not through administration. I have not seen anything they did not do well.

I paid school fees for three children (3000), also bought furniture (4000), the rest i used for food (3000).
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I had old funiture bt now i have new ones that my family can sit confortable and also the visitors . My children can now go to school .

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on the following ways;Renovating my current house by having it cemented,buying of furniture to make the house look tidy,paying school fees for my children and lastly I will start a tree planting project of which I can sell and get some income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to build my current two roomed house through saving money from casual works I do around for instance sand harvesting.My parents died when I was still a young boy and left nothing behind that could help me kick start life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on making ends meet and on paying school fees for my children,this is because I do not have a constant source of income to always rely on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is normally in the evening when I return home to a happy family.It makes me happy to sit with my family and enjoy the evening meal together.
