Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I was able to buy an Ox plough and a bull (will buy anther when second transfer is sent through) that will help me together with my brothers to earn a living during the cultivating season and then in general help my community members have timely cultivation. This is so that we can all be in position to farm in the right season and have better produce. Secondly, I am delighted that I was able to buy mattresses that have now improved the way of sleeping of both my brothers and myself. Prior to receiving this money, we all used to sleep on tattered mats for beds and it was so uncomfortable that we would end up waking up almost every night to just talk it away.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer, I felt so happy knowing that I would spent it in my own way and unconditionally.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy four mattresses that I distributed to my brothers since we used to sleep on mats. I also bought two beds. One for my mother and the other mine. I then bought a bicycle at Ugx 280000. I then bought two heads of cattle at Ugx 908000 I then bought an ox plough at Ugx 170000

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means great joy to me as a youth. The money will help me fulfil my desires such as buying oxen and an ox plough for ploughing. I always face a challenge when it comes to ploughing my garden simply because I don't have oxen and an ox plough. I'm forced to go and work for those who have oxen so that they plough for me as well . The balance of the money will be used to buy household items and two heifers which will reproduce and help me marry in the new future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is lunch time. It's the time I enjoy my meals and afterwards,I go to play foodball with my friends.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of oxen for ploughing. Iam currently using hand hoe for digging and this cannot enable me dig a large area of the garden compared to one who has oxen and an ox plough. Lack of oxen has limited me from growing more crops for sale.
