How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
When I received my first transfer, I decided to move into a much better house compared to where I lived before. The new house is much more spacious and more decent and I always feel very proud and comfortable having my friends over to my new place as compared to before when I did not want anyone knowing where I lived to avoid embarrassments.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My wife has no source of income at the moment and I would wish that she has one of her own so that she can support me financially.I am currently the sole provider of my family and it is very tough because I mostly don't earn much and sometimes go for a long time without getting any jobs. During such times, my family mostly suffers because they cannot afford the basic needs such as foodstuf which is why my wife should have a source of income to support the family during such times.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I do not a house back at home and that is why I am still living in a rental place just within the same village. My biggest desire has always been to have a house so that I can stop paying rent, but this has always been a challenge owing to my low income. This project always seemed impossible until when I received transfers from Give Directly which I partly used to buy the necessary construction materials.I am very happy because I know that I will soon achieve dream seeing that I am now on the right path having bought most of the materials.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am still living in a rental house just within my village because I do not have a house. I expect that in six months,I will have bought all the necessary construction materials to be able to build a house at home and move out of a rented place that costs me valuable amount each month. So far, I have purchase some of the materials and I hope that I will buy the rest soon.
