What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer buying cement and sand that I used to plaster it. I am old and smearing with mud was proving to be difficult. The remaining I spent on buying bedding and some furniture too.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does well by giving money directly to the less fortunate like me. I have not seen anything they have not done well in.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for transfers I received from GiveDirectly,I could still be staying in a mud house.

I spent my first transfer to buy food,utensils and bedding,I also start small business of selling small fish for my daily upkeep.

when I received my first transfer I felt very excited,now am able to take care of may family without any difficulties.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that my income is very low and this makes me not to be able to afford three meals in a day for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up and I go to my farm to do some plowing in order to plant maize. This makes me happy as I will be able to supplement my family's diet.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money makes me to be very happy as it will enable me to finish plastering my house so that my children can have a better house that is cemented.
