What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used 33000 KES from it to construct a new house of 22 iron sheets for my family since the previous house was so small and used to leak a lot. I then bought a sofa set worth 6500 KES since I did not have proper seats in the house before. The balance was all used to buy 2 bags of maize and other food items for my family because we did not have enough food in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I currently stay in a new spacious house which accommodates my entire family comfortably and I also don't have to worry about frequent repairs for the walls as I used to when I had the old house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on 2 bags of dry corn (7,000 KES) for home consumption since my family starving then. I also bought an extra blanket (1,000 KES) as well as a new mattress (2,000 KES) to replace our old one.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt thrilled because I was facing a lot of pressure by then, with the worst being that my family faced starvation so I immediately went to buy food. Thank you very much GD.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to build a bigger house because this one is small and in a very bad status. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to buy two bulls that would help us to plough our farms. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to buy furniture.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am very proud of is, having bought a music player with savings from my casual work that I listen to when I am relaxing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is paying school levies for our two children in primary school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am strolling around the village, after my casual work.
