How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much better. I acquired a motorcycle that is earning income for the family. It also acts as a means of transport for the family. Prior to receiving the cash transfers, transport to the medical facilities was cumbersome. Secondly, we had no income generating activity. We appreciate Givedirectly for supporting us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done so well to send people unconditional cash transfers. Sincerely speaking, Givedirectly has only done great things for the people.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent all the cash transfer to top on the purchase of a motorcycle.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning a motor cycle. I have been having challenges on transport when a household member needs medical attention. This will reduce on costs and will as well act as an Income generating activity for the household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after a hard day's work. I love to the nearby center in order to listen to village news and socialize with others. That always makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It is very difficult to engage in an income generating activity because there is no start up capital. This has been a challenge for a long period of time and I relied on crop farming which is unpredictable because some times the yields are poor due to drought or floods. '
