What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfer to buy goats and sheep that I can keep in my home. I also plan to spend the transfer to buy hybrid maize seeds and fertilizer for planting. I also plan to spend the transfer to construct a bigger house that can accommodate my large family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have managed to build a small house for the family. We saved the little money that we got from our fishing venture and used it to buy a few iron sheets and other building materials that we used to construct the house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced in life is when all our parents died while my husband was still a young boy. He was forced to drop out of school so as to look for a source of livelihood to support his siblings and the family. We decided to go into fishing venture and this is what has helped us and my large family. Sometimes life was harsh to us to the extent that we could go without food for days.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I manage to get food for my family.
