What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a fishing net 30,000 KES, bought a cup board at 8,500 KES, utensils at 4,000 KES then used the rest on food and other little house items.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that am now legally married to my wife after paying dowry and I also have my own fishing net hence I no longer hire a net for fishing hence am making some savings.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD does well by giving the cash directly to the recipients through phone transfers hence no one is exposed reducing attacks from robbers.

I spent my second cash transfer to pay dowry worth 39000KES,bought clothes 5000KES,transport fee 2000KES and spent the rest of the money to buy food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have managed to paid dowry,I also eat well because I have enough food at the moment.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy a cupboard and some maize which I will use to feed my family. The remaining transfers will be used to buy some goats which I will rear.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having married a beautiful wife who has given birth to my children. I have also managed to build her a house which she is proud of.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for some orphans whom I take care of. I fear that they may have to defer their studies if I am unable to raise the required fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am going to work because my wife always bids me farewell in a caring and loving tone.
