Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the happiness I feel when I am going to bed. This is because my bed now feels good to sleep on since it is very comfortable. Before getting this money, I had a very old tattered mattress for a bed and it really never gave a comforting sleep as I had to always wake up in the night to see that I was sleeping on the bare floor when the mattress pieces have parted.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy that I was able to get money to spend the way I really saw need. I am so grateful that I got this money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 1000000 to partially pay for land that I intend to buy. I then spent some money to buy bed, mattress, bed sheets, utensils, clothing feeding my family. I spent Ugx 220000 to enroll my children in school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means purchasing a dditional acres of farm land in order to support in crop cultivation because it is the only back born to my household's well-being. I have many sons and in our culture, they are expected to inherit land from their parents. I own currently three gardens for farm land and that will not be enough for them hence the desire to acquire more.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day I from mid day when I have managed to find what my household will feed on for that day. I see lots of smiles on the faces of my children and that is my source of happiness too.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my lid is inadequate land for crop cultivation. Farming is the only source of livelihood in my household. It's what supports me pay school fees for my children, pay medical bills and feeding my household. What we produce is sold and part of it is retained for household consumption. What is there currently is not able to support my household adequately.
