What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to pay my son in high school fee. Bought a cow with a portion of the transfer. I also purchased a sack of maize for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I'm relieved from stress of searching my child fee since I managed to pay most of his fee. Apart from that, I now enjoy my sleep on a new and comfortable mattress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it only consider the most poor in the village otherwise at the moment I'm not privy to what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought furniture since the ones I had earlier are broken . I also bought a cow and a sheep to use as remembrance of Give Directly for improving the status of my life and the rest I used to buy food and mattress. The one (mattress) I had was very old and worn out but now I do enjoy my sleep because of the new one I bought.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I now own a cow, sheep and furniture of my own. I am not disturbed when the night approaches because I know I will enjoy my sleep.

From my second transfer, I spent 4,000 KES to pay school fees, spent 2,600 KES to buy 1 sack of maize, bought a goat at 2,000 KES and the remaining 1,000 KES I spent to buy food.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
Am planning to spend my second transfer to pay school fees, buy a cattle and also to buy household items.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on paying school for my first born child who is in day secondary school,I will take him to boarding school and lastly I will buy two cows for raring which I can later sell.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to educate my first born child to secondary level of education, he's currently in form two and doing very well at school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on making ends meet,I'm the sole bread winner for my family since my husband is deceased and this has made it very difficult to fend for the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when all my children are back from school and we're able to sit as a family. It gives me joy to see them cheerful.
