How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Looking and living in a new decent house always brings me the biggest difference in my daily life. It had been my wish to build a good house, but our house needs couldn't give a chance my scarce resources to put up one. I sincere thank GiveDirectly for giving such a support. I am happy I live under such good house and have confidence to welcome anyone in unlike before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is a genuine organization that is there to uplift the need. In my opinion it has proven to be fair, transparent and equitable. I thank them for having come to our society and urge them to keep it up.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I had used the first transfer on build a new house thus I thought of investing part of my second transfer to support in the future. I took some amount to buy a cow. I preferred it since it is an added asset that will always give us milk for both household use and sales. I will soon have offsprings from that I can sell to meet any financial need in my family. I spent the remaining amount on my households basic needs and items. I bought chairs and couches to make my house comfy, bought three sacks of maize for my family consumption and on our clothing also was cater for.
