What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a cow for rearing and a bicycle to use for transport.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would be leading a miserable life because i couldnot even afford basic needs until I received the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by giving us financial transfers since we actually go and buy items from those other people who did not receive(support their businesses).

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on marrying a wife and payment of dowry. I had gotten problems in my family because of not getting my wife legally. I also started a produce buying business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Having my wife legally is the biggest difference in my daily life. I no longer have pressure from my in laws about dowry payment.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying beddings since I was sleeping on a mat. Previously I was sleeping like an animal.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my money, I nearly lost my mind. Actually it took me time to believe this fact. I just saw sweat rolling down my body because for me it was a miracle.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the first transfer on buying some iron sheets and household items I lack in my house. Then the remaining transfers, I will buy a piece of land and build on it a house such that I leave my father's courtyard.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I was able to study Arabic until my senior three so I help out in preaching in mosques.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have in my life was the separation I had with my girlfriend. I was really heart broken and developed high blood pressure because of it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening time because this is when I meet with my friends after work and converse.
