What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer entirely on school fees. My son was to join form one and my daughter was joining Kabbarak university under going her under graduate.

When I received my first lumpsum transfer, I spent 3500 KES on a sheep, I settled my outstanding debts with 3000 KES, on 3500 KES on food and we saved the remaining 40000 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have acquired new stock of livestock including sheep and goats; Initially, I possess only a chicken that could not rescue me from any financial emergency due to their low values. The biggest difference in my daily life now is that the increase in my livestock have increased my safety net and reduced my vulnerability to any possible financial crisis.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to clear school fees for my daughter who just finished secondary school but cannot access her certificate. The remaining transfers will be used to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails and iron roofing sheets which I will use to enlarge my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked very hard at my job and after saving for a while I have been able to educate my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for my husband. He is just a mere farmer and this means that whatever little money that I earn has to be shared between our two families. In fact I live in a dilapidated house because there is no money for repairs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after I am from work. I usually look forward to relaxing with my family as we have a meal.
