What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy fishing nets, ropes which my spouse uses for his fishing business. The remaining amount, I spent to buy two goats, shoes for my children, a sack of maize for consumption and also paid school fees for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfers, I would not have built a three roomed house as compared to the single room I was living in and also I would not have owned a fishing boat which has really uplifted my spouse's self esteem. Thank you GD for the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers directly hence no corruption involved. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, we plan to use part of the transfer to build a bigger semi-permanent house, because this one is small. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to buy four cows, that would provide us with milk for family use, and also that would be as investment for our family. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to open a shop, where we plan to sell items like sugar, milk, flour and others.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is, having bought three goats with money from the sales of tomatoes that we cultivated.

What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I'm preparing supper for my family.
