I received my second transfer a time when my husband was terribly sick and therefore I had to rush him to the hospital immediately. The treatment cost me 6000 KES and the rest of the money went to buying building materials that I will use to construct a better house. My current house leaks terribly on us and yet my husband is sick.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My husband has been suffering from diabetes and this has become even more severe. He couldn't eat and we couldn't eat too due to stress of her sickness. We never had money to take him to the hospital till we started receiving transfers from Give Directly that enabled us to rush him to the hospital to seek for medication-I can say it is a big difference to notice that he is currently more stable, he can eat and we can eat too since stress has plummeted.
