What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on adding capital into my second hand clothes vending business 15,000KES. I paid school fees for my two children who are in primary school 4,000 KES.I have also saved some amount in my savings account 28,000 KES since I am planning to buy a second hand motorcycle which I will use for transportation.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have my own second hand clothes vending business of which I am making double from profits from it to support my family financially hence I no longer await my husband to provide money that is needed for my household upkeep.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did a good job of giving unconditional cash transfers to the poorest household since this households their living standards have improved positively.

I have only spent 10000 KES of my third transfer to buy uniform for my two children for 4000 KES, and their pay school fee for 6000 KES. The remaining 40000 KES i have saved to purchase a motorcycle coming December.

I am planning to improve the stock in my little grocery business and also to buy a motorcycle which I intend to use in a taxi business.

I am proudest of the fact that I have been able to start my little grocery business which I run from home.

The biggest hardship is when I had to nurse my baby and run the grocery business without anyone around to help.
