How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in that, I am happy because GiveDirectly has empowered me, I have a sense of independence. Before, I used to rely on my parent's support which was a very difficult situation.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by accepting women who were married and separated/divorced, besides, they do not segregate in their approach. I do not find shortages in their operations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer for completing payment of a plot of land that I intend to build my own house. I paid a debt of UGX 250000 for the money that I had borrowed for treating my child. The balance of UGX 182000, I spent it on buying clothes for me and my child where Part of that money, I spent it on buying piglets that are acting as an investment.
