Receiving this money will mean better housing for my family. I stay in a one-room house with my daughter and her two children. The house is small and cannot accommodate all of us hence the need to building a bigger one. I plan to buy a cow with KES 30000 that will enable me to sell milk, a liter will be good because it will supplement the income that I earn from my casual jobs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I managed to build a house for my family with the help of my village members because I lost my piece of land. Having a shelter that houses my family has brought me happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Financial challenges are what hinder me to achieve so many plans. I rely on casual jobs to feed my family, my wife, daughter, and her two children but the money that I earn cannot enable us to buy food, and sometimes we sleep without food.
