Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I paid a water bill of KES 7000. This bill had been pending for over 2 years since I did not have money to pay it. I had even been denied access to that water due to that bill. Life became really hard for me due to this since due to the state of my health I could not walk for in search of water. We are greatly affected by long dry spells and at the moment life is much better and easier for me. I water my cattle at home, access clean water and If all goes well I am planning to irrigate my garden for better crop production.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in a hospital when I received a message notifying me that I had received the transfers. I have been suffering from diabetes for over a year now. At that point in time, my leg had been amputated and I was in so much pain. when the message came in I laughed out so loudly that the other patients wondered why I was very jovial despite the pain that I was going through. I immediately called my son who was at home help me collect the transfers.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the transfers on buying a cow KES 26000.paid water bill at KES 7000. I then used the rest to build a new house.
