What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I decided to buy a cow that could supply us with milk since the one I had before got stolen. Secondly, I spent the remaining amount on a welding machine since working on a commission on other peoples' welding was inconveniencing me a lot.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
No, I don't have any new goal after receiving transfers from Give Directly. My major focus was acquiring a driving license and investing in welding business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The transfers have transformed our lives. I have acquired a driving license and this enabled me to settle, marry and raise a happy family. Besides this, I have bought a land with part of this money and I am now hopeful that my children will have a land to live on. Finally, I have acquired a welding machine that has supplemented my income and therefore providing for my household members is no longer a big problem.

When I got my first lumpsum transfer, I cleared the balance for my land I had bought from my neighbor with 30000 KES, I budgeted for university items for my nephews with 10000 KES, I spent 5000 KES on tree seedlings that I have planted on my farm, I spent 2500 KES on a sheep and the remaining 2500 KES on food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have a big difference in my daily life since I have cleared the balance for my land and I have already acquired a title deed; I have my own land now where I can develop the way I like without any restriction for instance I have planted trees on the land already.

I am planning to build my house because I am homeless. I will use the remaining amount to rear livestock that in future I can sell when in financial problems.
