How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now because I managed to pay school fees for my self to persue a course in automotive mechanics. I dropped out of school and If it wasn't for this transfer, I would have not gone back to school. I am happy, It is my prayer that GiveDirectly extends the support to other people.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is a reliable organisation that did well to send me cash without asking for any payment. They did well to sensitise me to spend the money wisely and peacefully without causing chaos in the community. There is nothing they did bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for paying a debt and school fees. I bought a cow, a bed and a mattress.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is seeing that I bought my three cows that I plan to use to marry a wife in the near future. This is so because I will pay her bride price as it is in my culture without waiting for other people's contributions. I will also be a family man then.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt exited that I told myself that really GiveDirectly is honest since it kept its promise to send us money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 1230000 to buy three cows, bought some spare parts to my milling machine at Ugx 160000, bought some work mechanical tools that I need to use to repair damaged machines at Ugx 50000. I then bought a solar at Ugx 100000. I then used the balance to cater for some small personal requirements.
