Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am happy because the cash transfer enabled me to secure a plot of land. I also acquired household property such as a cow and bedding. I could not have acquired these had I missed out the cash transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I heard my phone ringing so I called my son who read the message for me. At that moment I felt very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX500000 to complete part payment of a plot of land. I bought a cow worth UGX800000 and the remainder of the cash transfer was spent on household items such as solar,mattress,bedsheets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I can build an iron roofed house. My plot of land is in the urban center which is developing rapidly, so it is inevitable for me to build a permanent structure instead of the thatched which is on it currently.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of a stable source I income to raise money to pay my children's tuition.
