What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy iron sheets which I have used to build my house and also paid laborers who built my house. I bought steel door and window which I have fixed on my house, I bought two sacks of maize for consumption. The remaining amount, I spent to buy household utensils which I did not have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not be living in a good house which is more spacious than the one I was living in which was much smaller. Thank you GD for the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers directly to recipients unlike sending money to other parties to give to recipients. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying building materials such as 40 pieces of iron sheet ,a steel door, two steel windows and building nails since I am planning to build a decent spacious three roomed house, as at the moment I am staying in a small house which is not fitting my family and I comfortably .I also bought two goats and two sack of maize for consumption.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails and iron roofing sheets which I will use to build a better house for my family. The remaining transfers will be used to pay school fees for my children who are in secondary schools.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having been a successful farmer and managed to buy a goat with proceeds from the sale of my crops.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself and my spouse. We rely on casual jobs for our income but at times work is often difficult to get, this means that we cannot afford everything we need to live.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because the Lord has blessed me and my family with life.
