Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My standards of living have improved to a large extent because I no longer do casual labor to earning income for the well being of my family. My health has improved because I have rested my spinal cord from daily casual work. Secondly I live a happy life because this money helped me achieve so many things from household items, livestock, bicycle, solar system and above I mangad to offset a debt which had burdened my for a very long time. I would like to thank GiveDirectly for offering me this opportunity of being one of the few to benefit from the program.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy the day I noticed that I got the money, I did not realise that I had received this money because I'm not well versed with phone handling. So one day my brother-in-law asked me if I had also received the the money and I told him I don't know, When he checked my account balance there was money which triggered my happiness.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer the following way, I bought six goats, Bed, bicycle, two mattresses. During my husband burial, I borrowed a loan from my savings groups to give him a descent send off which I cleared with this transfer. I also bought a solar system for both lighting and charging my phone. In addition to that I bought household items like clothes and the remaining money I topped up on my business of bread becking.
