How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much better because through these transfers I was able to access better treatment since I was diagonised with heart problem from heart centre in Nsambya. Secondly, my husband too had a successful surgery for a brain turmour. Previously, I depended on my children because I could not afford to pay the bills.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by helping me with money which has enabled me and my husband access better medication. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.

I bought household goods( blanket, bed sheets), paid for medical review, bought food and paid labour

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means my household needs will be taken care of. I have been bothering people to take care of my household medical bills and most of the things that I need. With the coming of GiveDirectly, I will be able to sort most of my charllages and fix them accordingly. I also hope to buy beddings and food using this same money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my children return home. Atleast they come with something for us to feed on.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is sickness. My husband and I are sick and we need close attention all the time. We need treatment all the time so the little money that we are able to earn just goes on medical bills. This leaves us with almost nothing to feed on because the expenditure is high.
