What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of my second transfer on purchasing building materials which I planned to use in construction of a new house once my third transfer is sent. I also purchased a fertilizer which I use in on my farms especially at this time when every else is busy in their farms. Finally, I purchased food for my family members who had gone without food for a while.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the is the improved living standard that the transfers have brought me so far. I can really state that food is no longer a problem in my house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
My son had finished secondary school but his certificate was withheld at the school because of fee arrears. I therefore gave him 4500 KES when I received my first transfer, which he used to pay the fee balance and he received his certificate. I then bought some clothes for my family and used the rest to buy a sack of dry maize and other foodstuffs for my family since we did not have enough food in the house, following the drought that led to low maize harvest last season.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I was overwhelmed with happiness because my son was really stressed about getting his certificate and now assistance had come to bail him out.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I have planned to drill a borehole with the first transfer since we fetch water very far and it's tiresome. The remaining money I will use it to construct a new house since the one I am in collapsed one side.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have bought a few cows and goats which my husband did not live me with. I have also managed to raise my children on my own.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is being a single parent and not being able to educate my children further because of lack of money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when all my children are in good health.
